I think I have like 325 songs on my iPod right now.
Vani, I'm with you, I hardly listen to German music, with the exception of a few bands I really like (Die Toten Hosen, Die Ärzte, Broilers...). German is not such a nice language and esp. love songs tend to sound extremely cheesy in German, don't they?

Oh yeah I like 'Die Ärzte'. They have good songs and I love 'Männer sind Schweine'
You're right, lovesongs do sound cheesy
I don't like bands like Silbermond or Juli or whatever.. although I like the song 'Krieger des Lichts'.. but that's the only one :'D

Yeah, you can chase me for miles with songs by Silbermond I do love Herbert Grönemeyer though, but more his older stuff. His lyrics are pretty good and the love songs aren't too cheesy (like "Ich hab dich lieb" or "Halt mich")

Yes he has written some beautiful songs  What's the name of the song written for his wife? I forgot that  I also liked 'Mensch' a lot when it came out

I asked Google, too .... I have to say that I like German songs more than French songs I just heard 'Alors on danse' and I haaaaaaaaate it

Yeah I got mine at Christmas 2008 - I need to update to 3G but haven't yet Although I don't think 8GB is enough and may need to start using my old 20GB old iPod Photo...
Considering you are German - you do like a lot of English/American songs

Ya 8GB isn't enough ;D Well for music it is enough but not for videos
I know I don't really like songs in German :'D When I was younger I always asked myself how people who speak English as their first language could listen to music in their language It seemed to be boring to me
I don't think that there are more than 2 songs in German on my iPod and there's no German band that I like thaaaaat much :'D

I used to wonder why everyone didn't just speak English I was like "Well America is big an speaks it, and we speak it, and when you go abroad a lot of people can speak English!"
