. Does anyone have experience with some which are gratis and easy to use ?

How about the design, are there some posibilities to personalize or are only very formal and boring?

I'd say the best one right now is Wordpress. It's free, easy and you can customize it.

Blogspot is also easy to use, but I think Wordpress is better at the moment.

I have also tried Wordpress but couldnt find the right layout (meaning I did not find a template for my needs, obviously I am not talented enough to "design" my own Laughing

). I am quite happy with blogspot now, looks a bit old fashioned though.

Sede why do you think is wordpress better? Is there any interesting feature I missed?

Well, I'm not an expert to be honest. My opinion is based on what I see and hear from people around me. Most of the people I know who have a blog use Wordpress right now. And I'm talking about people who must know a lot about the issue considering we're Computer students, so we're usually very up to date with regard to this matter Laughing

I've tried to have my own blogs several times, but I always got bored and gave up. I tried Blogspot and to be honest I didn't like it very much. It's free and easy, but way too easy for my needs. And also, I don't know if it's changed now, but I remember when I first used it, the layout gallery was very limited. If you wanted to have the best designs or use your own ones you had to get some sort of premium account.

Worpress seems nice and elegant and most of all, everything is free. Maybe I should get my own account and give it a go Laughing

I used to post one of my FFs on Blogspot when they started being really bitchey @ TTTV!! ¬¬

But no one read it over there, so I gave up on it! Laughing

Also, I used to post blogs on MySpace and Bebo - but gave up as well cuz I'm just too lazy to keep them updated! Laughing
